Here is Calgary, here is Algerian Ramadan

لمّة عائلية رمضانية جزائرية في القمة و بالأخص للأطفال الذين اجتمعوا و تعرفوا و لعبوا مع بعض .

كل الشكر و الإمتنان للأخوات المتطوعات على مجهوداتهن في تحضير طعام الإفطار و الحلويات.

كل الشكر للمتبرعين و المساهمين ماديا ومعنويا لإنجاح هذه المبادرة .

دون أن ننسى شباب الجالية و شاباتها المتطوعين في التنظيم و التحضير و تقديم الافطار.

كما نعتذر للعائلات التي كانت ترغب في مشاركتنا الإفطار لكن للأسف القاعة لم تسع عدد أكبر من الحضور.

موعدنا القادم إن شاء الله في تظاهرة و تجمع أكبر للجالية بمناسبة عيد الاضحى. سنوافيكم بمزيد من التفاصيل في الأيام القادمة إن شاء الله .

Yesterday was a special day, as we gathered for the largest Algerian community Iftar in Calgary and across Western Canada. It was a heartwarming event with over 260 individuals – men, women, and children.

It was more than a meal; it was a beautiful Ramadan experience, especially memorable for the children who played, made new friends, and shared laughter.

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated volunteer sisters whose efforts in preparing the delicious Iftar and sweets did not go unnoticed.

Our gratitude also extends to the generous donors and contributors who supported us and played a pivotal role in the success of this Iftar.

We must also applaud the young men and women from our community who volunteered their time and energy in organizing, preparing, and serving the Iftar.

Regrettably, we couldn’t accommodate additional families due to space constraints in the hall. We deeply apologize for this and hope to accommodate more people in the future.

Looking ahead, we're excited for our next big event, God willing, a larger gathering for Eid al-Adha. Stay tuned for more details.
